Recently, I moved to a new city, and while I am still waiting for my furniture to arrive, including my PC, I had to find a way to appease my gaming obsession.
But the problem is, I just brought my old laptop that only has 8gb RAM and a Iris Xe. I also did not bring my mouse.
With this limitation, I had to be creative. I decided to look for games with low-end requirements that can be played with a touchpad. Then, realized two genres that could be handy: digital card games and tower defense.
I have a long history of card games that I could talk about, but this is a subject for another post.
Back to my game selection… Well, I decided to play some tower defense games and went online to check some lists like “best tower defense games of all time”, etc. Then, I realized that I had already played most of them.
So, today I will show my top 5 tower defense games in no particular order of preference:
1. Kingdom Rush series
Why I was obsessed:
- Gorgeous graphics
- Level diversity
- Multiple heroes to choose from
2. Orcs must die series
Why I was obsessed:
- Good sense of humor
- My favorite traps of all tower defense games
- Fantastic character animations.
3. Dungeon Defenders 1
Why I was obsessed:
- You can place the traps almost anywhere
- Infinite loot
- Each hero has a different playstyle
4. Gemcraft series
Why I was obsessed:
- Each game of the series has a myriad of levels
- You can fuse the effects of your towers
- It can get very difficult
5. Bloons TD 6
Why I was obsessed:
- Charismatic monkeys

- High replayability

See you guys next time. Now, let me see if I can beat that freaking level on GemCraft Lost Chapter: Frostborn Wrath…
